How To Make A Nice Looking $70 Rocket Stove For $5. This Is Totally Awesome, And So Easy To Make!

Rocket stoves are a great item to have on hand. They’re great in a survival situation, or for camping. They can also be a little pricey. You can find them on Amazon for anywhere from $45-$160. So why not make your own for about $5.

This rocket stove you are going to be making is very nice looking and is very simple to make, and can be made in a couple of hours even if you are not real handy.

One of the nice things about this rocket stove is that you will be able to cook full meals using very little fuel. By fuel we mean leaves, twigs, and small sticks. Just a brief side note: main body of stove (largest can) is a one gallon paint can. It was purchased at Home Depot for $5.

Medium sized can is a pasta sauce can and the smallest can is a standard size soup can. For this video a 2 1/2″ hole saw to mark (score) the paint can.

To make your rocket stove you will need: 3 metal cans, gravel/sand and/or dirt! that’s it. The only tools you will need are a hacksaw, pliers and a drill. This stove is powerful, wind and rain resistant.
