EDP Gets Invited to NE Louisiana Boat & Outdoor Show

In late 2018, we met Wade Hanks the creator and owner of the Northeast Louisiana Boat and Outdoor show. During our initial conversation Hanks told us that the previous TV station and lead sponsor changed and he took over full rights to the show and went with a new TV station for the lead sponsorship for the show and also took on a new business partner for this event; Oklahoma Businessmen Kerry Murphy. Murphy also hosts his own Gun & Knife show in Oklahoma and will be hosting show in Louisiana in the coming months as Hanks will be releasing the reins of his gun & knife shows in Louisiana to Murphy under the Kerry Murphy Promotions name for the Gun Shows aspects of the business. We have also been formally invited by Murphy to attend those shows too; which open to the door to another promotion for EDP to attend shows in the Louisiana market. This truly expands the EDP brand and allow us to further grown South with our company. During the conversation Hanks seemed very interested in the items we carried and asked if we would like to be apart of the Louisiana event he was hosting in February. We had heard of Hanks and knew he had been a show promoter of gun shows for some time and thought this would be a great opportunity for EDP to expand into another new market. Throughout the weekend while at this a current show in Mississippi we asked more questions and before the weekend was over we were in and signed up with Hanks. On January 31st we will join Deep South Optics, an Osprey Global Authorized Dealer and convoy with them as we both travel to West Monroe Louisiana for the Northeast Louisiana Boat & Outdoor Show to open on 12 noon on Friday, February 1, 2019 and go thru Sunday the February 3rd. We are very excited to see what all Hanks and Murphy bring to the Louisiana market place as we get our feet wet as it were...Pun Intended. The Monroe Civic Center will be packed with your favorite equipment and products for the 1st Annual NE Louisiana Boat and Outdoor Show that will be one show in the area spectators will not want to miss. In 2018 we were honored and blessed to attend 49 Gun & Knife shows that included shows in: Alabama Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia and Tennessee also included 2 Expos both in Alabama and Mississippi so, we are honored to have this show on our books to start the year off right. We have already expended into Florida this year and look forward to seeing what all 2019 will bring for the EDP Family.
