More Shows Cancelled In South Due To Coronavirus (Updated 03/17/2020)

More Promoters continue to cancel their shows scheduled for the next few weeks according to legitimate sources. With President Trump just at a Public Press Conference, 3:30 pm, March 16th he has strongly suggested that all Americans stay home and for the next 15 days and even gave out guidelines for this time and with this, he and his staff believe this will flatten the curve of the virus and peoples lives can go back to normal.

At 2: 20 pm, March 16, 2020 Big Pop Gun Show officially post thru social media & emails they have cancelled their March 21st Show schedule for Laurel, Mississippi. With the first case of Coronavirus just 30 miles away in Hattiesburg it probably was a good idea to cancel this show.

We received notice from Alabama Gun Collectors last week that they were cancelling their show scheduled for March 21st & 22nd before any cases of the virus were even in their city or surrounding areas. I can say on the record, we have not been informed of any cases in Hoover, AL or Laurel, MS but they are both taking the advise of the President and the CDC to cease all large gathering for 14 days.

The CASC Show scheduled for March 28th is still "ON" for the time being as this show is outside of the 14 day window and hopes are that this time will flatten the curve of the virus.

We also received notice that East Alabama is still "ON" for their show in Mid-April. They plan to upload a large ad campaign soon to help promote and generate interest on their show.
