Solar Power Lights, Good For Prepping, Camping Or Use On Cargo Trailers.

Solar Power Lights, Good For Prepping, Camping Or Use On Cargo Trailers.

Most recently I came across this new idea for my cargo / camping trailer and it really got me thinking about other uses from Prepping and how it could benefit us in the case of a power outage, security for my home and property as well as when you bug out and especially when you go camping. This small portable light would be amazing in any camping situation for campsite security from wild animals as well as for general security from human predators entering your camp grounds. For my intentions. I plan to put one / two over my garage entrance, one over the side of the garage where I part my trailer, one at the front door & back doors as well as one on my cargo trailer door. I am also thinking of adding one to my new storage shed for security. This same philosophy could be applied when you bug out. Having one of these lights for your areas personal security to know when someone or something enters your area at night.

After some research, I found I like two versions of the BAXIA TECHNOLOGY Solar Outdoor Light. One is the 28 LED Wireless Waterproof Security Solar Motion Sensor Lights, (400LM) and the other is a larger unit; BAXIA TECHNOLOGY Solar Outdoor Light, 100 LED Solar Motion Sensor Lights with Wide Angle, Upgraded Waterproof Super Bright Security Solar Wall Lights.

I love the fact that it is one a Solar powered that does not require power outlets, in the larger unit it has 100 LED Lites providing 2000 Lumens of output while the mini version has 28 LED lites which is great too.

Water Proof (IP65), Heat Resistant and also Frost Resistant. With the built in motion sensor set at 120 degrees it will detect movement from 16 feet away. After fully charging in the sun, it will keep lite for 8-10 hours using a 2600 mAh eternal rechargeable battery.

I am really looking forward to testing this light over the next 30 days and see how it goes.

Most importantly, I wanted something solar/ battery chargeable for my cargo trailer which I use for work in all conditions, plus I wanted something for my property. I plan to use the 28 LED Light on the trailer and the larger unit on my garage and shop area. This is going to make a great addition to my home / business and travel trailer's security system.

Let me know your thoughts and if you have tried something like this and leave comments below.
