Tennessee Valley Hunting & Fishing Expo - Postponed Due To Covid

In the News today, EDP found out that Tennessee Valley Hunting & Fishing expo has cancelled their July Show due to social distancing rules from Covid-19. While Tennessee Valley made no attempt to notify their potential vendors, EveryDay Preppers found this on their website. There is only this small blurb (shown below) of the postponement with no date to follow for the new date in 2020. EveryDay Preppers has also reached out to Alabama Lt. Governor who is also the owner of the TVHFE with no reply from him or his office. There is also nothing reflected in their News Section just this comment as stated below on the home page top banner section. "Because of the strict social distancing and safety guidelines associated with COVID-19, the 2020 Tennessee Valley Hunting and Fishing Expo, which is traditionally held in July, has been postponed.

Since its inception, the TVHFE has been a family-friendly event that draws tens of thousands of hunters, fisherman, and other sportsmen to the Huntsville area. We want to ensure that our attendees can safely enjoy the events, activities, seminars, and entertainment they have come to expect.

We will continue monitoring recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and the Alabama Department of Public Health in the coming weeks and determine if it is feasible to reschedule the event for late summer or early fall or if we will cancel it for this year.

If we hear of any other news, we will share it, but this shows the seriousness. Just another special note: Mississippi's large expo: Mississippi Wildlife Federation's - Mississippi Wildlife Extravaganza has also been cancelled for 2020. It is also unknown at this time if the August, Birmingham, Alabama 37th Annual World Deer Expo will happen in 2020 or the August ,Montgomery, Alabama Buck Masters Expo will happen.
